The My Website editor
Open My Website from the dashboard sidebar. On the left are four collapsible sections, one open at a time. On the right is a live preview of your site that updates as you type, before you save anything.
- Home: Restaurant Name, Short Tagline, Background Images, Logo Asset.
- About: Title, Body Copy, Story Gallery.
- Reservations: the Page Intro above your booking page.
- Contact: the Page Intro above your contact page.
The rest of your site comes from other dashboard pages: your menu from Menu Manager, deals from Deals & Promos, addresses and hours from Hours & Location, and booking or ordering buttons from Settings → Integrations.
Editing Home
Open My Website. The Home section is open by default.
Enter your Restaurant Name (required) and a Short Tagline. The preview updates as you type.
Under Background Images, click Choose images and pick one or more photos.
Turn on Auto-rotate if you want the photos to cycle. With it off, guests see only the first image.
Under Logo Asset, click Choose logo and pick your logo file.
Click Save draft, or Publish to put it live.
Logo
Your logo shows large in the middle of your home page, over the background photo, and again in your site footer. Without one, the home page shows the first letter of your restaurant name. If you have no background images, the logo is also used as your share-link image.
Use a PNG. A transparent background works best. Your rewards card and wallet pass have their own logo uploads in Customers → Rewards.
Background images
Background images are the large photos behind your name and tagline on the home page. 1440 × 800 is the recommended size. Your first background image is also the picture people see when your link is shared.
- Add several and turn on Auto-rotate to cycle through them. With Auto-rotate off, only the first one shows.
- Photos show in the order you added them. There's no drag-to-reorder: to change the order, remove photos and add them back.
- Photos don't rotate for guests who have reduced motion turned on in their device settings.
Editing About
The About section is your story. Give it a Title, write the Body Copy, and add photos to the Story Gallery (3–8 recommended). The home page shows up to four gallery photos at a time. Turn on Auto-rotate to cycle through the rest.
Editing Reservations and Contact
Each of these sections has one field, Page Intro: a short paragraph shown at the top of that page. The booking buttons themselves come from your booking integration. The addresses, phone numbers, and hours on the contact page come from Hours & Location.
Preview: desktop and mobile
Above the preview, switch between Desktop and Mobile, and drag the grip handle left or right to resize the preview. Check both: many guests first see your site on a phone.
The preview shows your draft, including changes you haven't saved yet. Guests don't see any of it until you publish.
Save and publish
The buttons in the page header:
- Save draft stores your changes without making them public.
- Publish saves your edits, then puts your whole site live. See Publishing.
- Unpublish takes your site offline after you confirm. Visitors see a "not found" page until you publish again. Your content stays in the dashboard.
On a phone, the same actions are under Actions. If a save fails, for example because Restaurant Name is empty, a message explains why.
Branding tips
- Pick background photos that work under white text. The home page darkens them with a gradient so your name stays readable.
- Use the same logo file in My Website and in Customers → Rewards so your rewards card matches your site.
- Guests can switch your site to dark mode from the gear menu, so check that your logo reads on both light and dark backgrounds. See Languages.
