Pages & sections

Edit your site's Home, About, Reservations, and Contact sections — logo, hero photos, and all — with a live preview beside every change.

A screen recording for this guide is coming soon.

The Website editor

The Website page is split into two panes. On the left, accordion sections for each part of your site. On the right, a live preview of your venue site as guests will see it. Every keystroke updates the preview instantly.

Four sections are available:

  • Home — venue name, tagline, background images, logo.
  • About — your story: title, body, and story gallery.
  • Reservations — the intro shown above your booking page.
  • Contact — the intro shown above your contact details.

Editing Home

  1. Open the Website page from the dashboard sidebar.

  2. Expand the Home accordion.

  3. Edit Restaurant Name and Short Tagline — the header preview updates immediately.

  4. Add one or more Background Images — multiple images auto-rotate on the public site.

  5. Choose a Logo Asset from your media library.

Your logo appears in your site header and wherever Tabern shows your venue identity — the share card and the rewards card if you configure one. Upload a square image; transparent backgrounds work best.

Hero photos

Hero images are the large photos at the top of your site — usually your space, your food, or your team. Add several in the Home section's Background Images control and they rotate automatically for guests. Keep it to a handful; each one should earn its spot.

Editing About

The About section is your story. Give it a title, write the body, and add photos to the story gallery. Gallery images, like background images, auto-rotate on the published site.

Editing Reservations and Contact

Both sections are a short intro paragraph displayed above their respective pages. The booking page itself comes from your booking integration; the contact details come from Hours & location.

Preview: desktop and mobile

Use the preview toolbar to switch between Desktop and Mobile and to resize the preview pane. Check both — many guests will first see your site on a phone.

Save and publish

  • Save draft stores your changes without making them public.
  • Publish snapshots the site and puts it live — see Publishing.
  • Unpublish takes the site offline — drafts stay intact.

Branding tips

  • Brand changes are draft edits. Publish to push them live.
  • Same logo everywhere: header, share card, rewards card — upload once and it follows.
  • Media — upload and manage images.
