What members get
After joining your rewards program, members can add their card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The pass shows their member QR code, visit progress, and available rewards. When you edit your program, their pass updates automatically over the air.
Configure the pass
In the Rewards page, open the Wallet pass section. A live wallet pass preview sits beside every control.
Set the pass title — up to 12 characters; keep it short, like your venue name.
Pick a color preset or set custom colors for the pass background and text.
Check the contrast warning if one appears — low-contrast passes are hard to read; adjust your colors.
Upload the pass logo — shown at the top of the pass.
Add a strip image — the wide banner across the middle of the pass.
Upload a notification icon if desired — small, used in pass update notifications.
Write the pass terms — shown on the back of the pass, up to 2,000 characters.
Publish to update passes for existing members.
Updates reach members automatically
Editing your program — milestone changes, card details, or pass styling — triggers an automatic update to every member's installed pass. Members don't reinstall or re-add anything. The QR code and progress always stay current.
Send notifications to members
Reward balance changes update saved passes automatically, but you can also message members directly. Open the Notifications page — Customers → Notifications in the dashboard — which lists every member with an installed pass, their device count, when they were last notified, and their status.
Find a member in the list (or search for them) and choose the bell action in their row to compose a message.
Write your message — up to 256 characters, e.g. “Stop by this weekend for a free drink on us!”
Send — the message appears as a notification on the member's iPhone when their Wallet pass updates (iOS 16.4 or later).
Use the history action in a member's row to see every notification they've received, with dates and devices notified.
You can also reach several members at once:
- Notify Selected — select multiple members with the checkboxes, then notify them together.
- Apple Wallet settings — shows how many members hold an Apple Wallet pass and lets you broadcast a message to all of them at once.
- Google Wallet settings — no free-text messages; Google controls change notifications. You can enable nearby notifications so Google may remind members when they approach up to 10 of your locations (add coordinates in Hours & Location first).
Scanning Wallet passes
The member QR code on the Wallet pass is the same code as on their web card. Your Rewards Scanner kiosk scans either one — members can hold up their phone Wallet or their browser card.
