Create your venue

Set up your venue's name, branding, location, and hours, the foundation of your site.

Venue basics

You pick your venue's name and subdomain when you create the website (see Getting started). If you signed up with the homepage form, your logo, tagline, story, address, and hours are already filled in from that form. Either way, you can change all of it in the dashboard.

Your venue's identity lives on the Home section of My Website:

  1. Open My Website from the dashboard sidebar and expand the Home section.

  2. Check Restaurant Name. It appears in your site header and page titles.

  3. Add a Short Tagline: one line that tells guests what you are.

  4. Under Logo Asset, click Choose logo. PNG or SVG works best.

  5. Click Save draft. Changes reach guests the next time you publish.

Location and hours

Your venue needs at least one location with an address and weekly opening hours. If you have more than one address, add them all. Guests can switch between them on your site's Contact page.

  1. Open Hours & Location from the dashboard sidebar.

  2. Click Add Location.

  3. Enter a Location name and the address: Address line 1, City, State, ZIP, and Country.

  4. Add a Phone and Contact email so guests can reach you.

  5. Set opening and closing times for each day. Turn on Closed for days you’re shut.

  6. Click Add Location to save it. Repeat for each address you have.

  7. To change a location later, select it, edit the Location details, Contact, or Operating hours sections, and click Save Location.

Branding

The rest of your look is also on My Website, with a live preview beside the form:

  • Home → Background Images: the hero photos at the top of your site. Recommended size 1440 × 800; add several and they rotate.
  • About → Title, Body Copy, and Story Gallery: your story, plus 3–8 photos of the room, the team, or the food.

Your browser-tab icon and the preview image people see when you share a link are set separately, in Settings → Website Settings → Share Link Settings. See Sharing & SEO. Uploads are kept in your media library.
